Shipping & Keepsake Process

How It Works

Each Golden Nest piece is custom-made using your personal inclusions. Once your order is placed, you’ll receive an email with detailed instructions on how to send your materials.

Please do not send anything until you receive this email with your mailing address.

Sending Your Inclusions

Shipping Instructions

  • Breastmilk should be double-bagged:
    Place milk in a breastmilk storage bag, then into a Ziplock bag to prevent leaks

  • For extra protection, you may triple bag

  • Ship using a padded envelope or bubble mailer (USPS is typically ~$5)

  • Include your name + order number inside your package

  • Do not select shipping options that require a signature

Important:

  • Any breastmilk is acceptable (fresh, frozen, or expired)

  • Please avoid sending your last remaining milk in case of postal loss

Amounts Needed

  • Breastmilk: 1–1.5 oz

  • Ashes: ½–1 tsp (remaining ashes will be returned)

  • Flowers: 2–4 dried petals (no fresh flowers)

  • Umbilical Cord: A small piece only (not the entire cord)

Please note:

  • Remaining ashes, flowers, or cord will be returned with your order

  • Any leftover breastmilk will be safely discarded after use

Shipping Responsibility

Shipping your inclusions to Golden Nest is the customer’s responsibility.

Golden Nest is not responsible for lost or delayed packages during transit. If needed, you may resend materials.

Turnaround Time

Each piece is carefully handcrafted.

Current turnaround time: 3–6 months from the time your materials are received.

Order Changes & Returns

  • You have 24 hours to cancel or make changes to your order

  • After this time, your piece has entered production and cannot be modified

Due to the custom nature of our jewelry, all sales are final.

Each piece is unique—slight variations in color or small air bubbles may occur and are part of the handmade process.
