Golden Nest Submission & Shipping Instructions

Shipping Instructions

  • Breastmilk should be double-bagged: place frozen milk in a breastmilk storage bag, then place that bag into a Ziplock to catch any leaks. For extra security, you may triple bag. Use a padded envelope or bubble mailer to ship (USPS cost ~ $5).

  • Any breastmilk is acceptable — fresh, frozen, or expired.

  • Include your name and order number on the bag. (Instagram name if you wish)

  • Do not use shipping methods that require a signature.

  • Avoid sending your last drops of milk, in case of postal loss.

  • Shipping costs to Golden Nest are your responsibility. Golden Nest is not responsible for lost packages, but you may resend materials if necessary.

Amounts Needed

  • Breastmilk: 1–1.5 oz

  • Ashes: ½–1 tsp (leftovers will be returned)

  • Flowers: 2–4 dried petals (no fresh flowers; leftovers returned)

  • Umbilical cord: Please send a piece only, not the entire cord (leftovers returned)

Any leftover breastmilk will be discarded, but ashes, flowers, or umbilical cord remnants will always be returned with your order.

Turnaround Time

Currently 3–6 months after your materials are received. Thank you for your patience while each keepsake is handcrafted with care.

Refund & Customization Policy

  • You have 24 hours to cancel your order. After that, cancellations, ring style changes, or size changes are no longer possible, as creation has begun.

  • Due to the custom and hand-crafted nature of these pieces, returns are not accepted. Colors may vary, and minor air bubbles may be present — each keepsake is unique.

  • If any errors occur on our end or you have quality concerns, please reach out and we will work with you to resolve them.
